When you join or contact us, we collect your name, company, email address, phone number and the membership choices you make. Card payments are handled by Stripe — we never see or store your full card details. If you use our website chat, we keep the conversation so our team can follow up.
We use this information to set up and run your membership, deliver your data, take payment, send service emails (such as "your data is ready"), answer your questions and meet our legal obligations. Our lawful bases are performing our contract with you and our legitimate interests in running and improving our service.
We share it only with the providers that help us run the service (hosting, payments by Stripe, email and our chat tools), and keep it for as long as you're a member and for up to six years afterwards for accounting and legal purposes.
Our membership data is drawn from our UK consumer database. Every record we supply is opted in for third-party marketing, and we pass on the contact channels each person agreed to. If you'd like to know whether we hold your details, or you'd like to be removed so you're not included in future deliveries, email support@datamembership.com and we'll act on it promptly.
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), though we'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
We use only the cookies needed to keep you logged in and to run the website chat. We don't use advertising cookies.
